Privacy Policy

This page explains what information ED Gutentag Photography (Edward A. Gutentag, sole proprietor, Panama City Beach, Florida) collects when you visit this website or get in touch — and what happens to it after that.
Short version: not much, and nothing gets sold.
1. What we collect
When you visit the site
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare logs basic technical information — IP address, browser type, referring page, and which pages you viewed — for security and aggregate analytics. We do not currently run additional third-party analytics, ad pixels, or tracking scripts on this site.
When you contact us
If you email edgutentag@mac.com, call 850 · 774 · 0661, or reach out through any other channel, we receive whatever information you choose to share — your name, contact details, project description, and anything else you include. We use that information solely to respond to you and discuss the work.
When you become a client
If we engage on a project, we collect the information needed to deliver and invoice the work — your name, billing address, payment details, and any shoot-specific information (property addresses, schedule, deliverables). This information is stored in our standard business tools.
2. What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't share your information with marketing or advertising networks.
- We don't use your photos in our portfolio without permission.
- We don't run a newsletter you didn't ask to be on.
3. Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. Embedded content (YouTube video on the Cinematography page) may set cookies under YouTube's own policies — see Google's privacy policy if you'd like to know what YouTube does with those.
4. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to confirm what information we hold about you, to correct anything inaccurate, or to delete what we have. Email edgutentag@mac.com with the request and we'll respond within ten business days.
Florida residents also have specific rights under the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA). Residents of the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions with their own data protection laws have rights under those laws — get in touch and we'll handle the request properly.
5. Security
The site itself is served over HTTPS. Files we hold (correspondence, contracts, delivered work) sit in standard business platforms with their own security. No system is perfect — but we treat your information with appropriate care and we'll notify you promptly if anything ever changes.
6. Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, the "last updated" date at the top of the page changes too. The current version always lives at this URL.
7. Questions
Email edgutentag@mac.com or call 850 · 774 · 0661. Real person on the other end.
